How many grades of bearing precision?
2024-05-20
According to ISO's grading standards, precision bearings are divided into: P0, P6, P5, P4, P2.
The grades increase in sequence, with P0 being ordinary precision and the other grades being precision grades. Of course, different grading standards and different types of bearings have different grading methods, but the meanings are the same.
The performance of precision bearings requires the rotating body to have high runout accuracy, high-speed rotation, and small friction and friction change.
1. The tolerance grade of bearings is mainly determined according to the rotational accuracy requirements of the shaft to the support.
P0: It is widely used in general bearing systems with a rotational accuracy greater than 10μm.
Such as the speed change mechanism, feed mechanism of ordinary machine tools, the speed change mechanism of automobiles and tractors, and the rotation mechanism of general general machinery such as ordinary motors, water pumps and agricultural machinery.
2. P6, P5: In precision bearing systems with a rotational accuracy of 5-10μm or a higher speed, such as bearings used in ordinary lathes (grade 5 for front support and grade 6 for rear support), more precise instruments, meters, and precision instruments, meters, and precision rotation mechanisms.
3. P4, P2: In ultra-precision instruments with a rotational accuracy of less than 5μm or a very high speed, such as gear systems of precision grinders, precision instruments, meters, and precision systems of high-speed cameras.
